The client had experience of high volume process manufacturing, but always as a supplier to another manufacturing company.  An opportunity arose to set up a design and build company, supplying a specialist product to the construction industry.  Not only did this involve a different type of manufacturing process, but also a completely different approach to selling and doing business.

We researched the needs of the market, including the contractual arrangements, identified the risks, and put in place the business processes that would be needed, from quote to cash.

The project included establishing new premises, assisting with recruitment and training of new staff, selection of a new computer system, and securing BS5750 accreditation for the new business and its manufacturing facility.
